DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Engage in planning for infrastructure and environmental architecture.

• Design, execute, and enhance CI/CD pipelines along with automation processes.

• Develop and sustain scalable environments based on Kubernetes.

• Enhance infrastructure performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.

• Diagnose issues related to production infrastructure, networking, and application delivery.

• Provide support and maintenance for existing environments.

• Apply best practices for infrastructure security, secrets management, and access control.

• Work collaboratively with development teams on topics related to infrastructure.

• Take part in incident response, root-cause analysis, and improvements following incidents.

• Propel continuous improvement initiatives and suggest new technologies and methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer.

• Strong practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Comprehensive experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.

• Familiarity with YAML pipelines, reusable templates, approval gates, and governance in Azure Repos.

• Experience in managing Linux and Windows build agents as well as Azure Artifacts feeds.

• Hands-on experience with Terraform and/or Ansible.

• Proficient scripting abilities in Bash and Python or PowerShell.

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, OpenSearch, or Elasticsearch.

• Strong grasp of infrastructure and application security principles.

• Experience with HashiCorp Vault or similar solutions for secrets management.

• Background in managing TLS certificates and secure infrastructure configurations.

• Understanding of least privilege, network segmentation, and isolated environments.

• Experience troubleshooting production systems and engaging in incident response.

• Upper-intermediate proficiency in English.
