DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee the implementation of testing, development, automation tools, and infrastructure for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Manage and implement containerized environments effectively.

• Supervise the processes of code release and deployment.

• Identify and maintain both new and existing software engineering tools and infrastructure.

• Design and create automations aimed at enhancing software engineering efficiency while minimizing risk.

• Oversee continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.

• Address performance and architectural challenges.

• Manage application scaling, performance oversight, and metrics analysis.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.

• In-depth knowledge of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery, preferably using GitLab.

• Familiarity with both static and dynamic application security testing.

• Experience in developing engineering applications within a large corporate environment.

• Proficient in managing and deploying Docker/Kubernetes environments.

• Up-to-date knowledge of best practices regarding system security protocols.

• Experience in creating and maintaining both distributed systems and monolithic applications.

• PHP/Laravel experience is highly valued.

• Experience with Golang is also highly regarded.

• Knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript is a plus.

• Familiarity with the telecommunications sector and networking technologies is advantageous.

• Proven ability to resolve issues and think like a leader.
