DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Automate the provisioning, deployment, and scaling of infrastructure within an AWS environment.

• Ensure that services are dynamically scalable and resilient to faults.

• Develop frameworks for monitoring, alerting, and detecting anomalies in services.

• Analyze platform performance to identify solutions for bottlenecks and other challenges.

• Guarantee that all systems maintain secure and up-to-date configurations.

• Manage and enhance the application deployment process.

• Construct and oversee infrastructure as code.

• Assist the team in managing the cloud environment.

• Collaborate with the development team to refine architectures and address issues.

• Engage in technical discussions regarding the platform's future direction.

• Instrument and monitor production systems effectively.

• Continuously work to enhance the platform's performance and scalability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree completed or currently in progress in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Proficient experience with AWS.

• Familiarity with container orchestration.

• Understanding of server and application monitoring.

• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) methodologies.

• Experience with provisioning tools like Ansible and Terraform.

• Preferred: knowledge of CloudWatch, Grafana, and Zabbix.

• Preferred: knowledge of Kibana, Elasticsearch, and Logstash.

• Preferred: experience with Kafka.

• Preferred: understanding of observability principles.

• Preferred: knowledge of distributed architecture.
