DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Assist in the setup, configuration, operation, and maintenance of system software, cloud services, and virtualized infrastructure.

• Manage existing CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitLab CI/Runners.

• Execute and modify basic automation scripts in Python and Bash for reporting, metrics, and operational tasks.

• Investigate and resolve technical issues, conduct root cause analysis, and provide escalation support within the Production Support team.

• Adhere to and update documented procedures for system troubleshooting, maintenance, and runbooks.

• Uphold system security standards through agent maintenance and vulnerability remediation using Tenable Nessus and Wiz.

• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation in Jira and Confluence.

• Collaborate within Product Support team workflows and disseminate knowledge throughout the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Strong understanding of standard SDLC and Agile development methodologies.

• 1-3 years of experience in IT projects.

• Demonstrated experience with database and infrastructure work involving MS SQL and PostgreSQL databases.

• Familiarity with virtualized environments using VMWare and XCP.
