DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Set up and enhance the Databricks platform environment

• Assist with workspace management and integration on the Databricks "Ops" platform

• Design and maintain AWS platform engineering solutions

• Create, implement, and sustain scalable CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows for deployments

• Establish contemporary DevOps methodologies for platform delivery and infrastructure oversight

• Configure enterprise-level monitoring, alerting, and logging for cloud and data platforms

• Ensure the observability and operational preparedness of the platform

• Set up operational infrastructure instead of conducting daily operations

• Lead initiatives autonomously without needing step-by-step guidance

• Maintain frequent, clear, and precise communication with technical teams and business stakeholders

• Identify gaps in the platform, propose solutions, and enhance operational efficiency

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of Databricks

• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to the Databricks "Ops" platform

• Comprehensive DevOps expertise, including modern CI/CD pipelines and methodologies

• Strong skills in AWS platform engineering

• In-depth understanding of operations management, including the configuration of monitoring, alerting, and logging

• Excellent consulting abilities

• Capability to work independently and proactively as a self-starter

• Consistent, clear, and precise communication skills with technical teams and business stakeholders

• Proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher

• Candidates must reside in Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay, Argentina, or Chile

• This position is specifically for applicants located in Latin America (LATAM)
