DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +37 more locations.

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, security, and high availability.

• Develop and manage Terraform Infrastructure as Code for automated provisioning and administration.

• Create, refine, and sustain CI/CD pipelines for application building, testing, and deployment processes.

• Advocate for GitOps methodologies and automation utilizing Kubernetes, Helm, and ArgoCD.

• Enhance monitoring, logging, alerting, observability, and troubleshooting capabilities.

• Construct internal tools and automation to boost developer productivity and minimize manual tasks.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to establish DevOps best practices and deployment methodologies.

• Identify and mitigate infrastructure bottlenecks, operational inefficiencies, and potential system failures.

• Engage in a shared 24/7 on-call rotation and address critical incidents as they arise.

• Lead infrastructure projects that support the platform's scalability, stability, and overall health.

• Work closely with Engineering, Security, Product, and Technical Services teams.

• Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the country where the position is being filled.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related infrastructure-centric role.

• Strong practical experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud infrastructure.

• Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines.

• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code technologies, especially Terraform.

• Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.

• Experience in implementing and maintaining monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting systems.

• Knowledge of GitOps practices and deployment automation tools like ArgoCD.

• Experience with scripting or programming for infrastructure automation and internal tools development.

• Deep understanding of best practices regarding cloud infrastructure reliability, scalability, security, and compliance.

• Capable of diagnosing complex infrastructure issues and enhancing system performance and reliability.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work autonomously, take charge of technical projects, and collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
