DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines utilizing Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

• Provision and oversee infrastructure as code using Terraform.

• Manage configurations through Ansible.

• Containerize and orchestrate applications utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.

• Automate operational tasks with Python, Bash, PowerShell, and YAML.

• Create monitoring and observability solutions using Prometheus and Grafana.

• Operate and enhance workloads across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

• Collaborate with development teams to enhance deployment processes, reliability, and security.

• Troubleshoot, monitor, and document both new and existing infrastructure.

• Work within a consulting framework serving Fortune 1000 companies across various industries and technical stacks.

• Engage in a hiring process that may encompass a preliminary phone interview, video interviews, and a take-home exercise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient scripting abilities in Python, Bash, and PowerShell, with a strong familiarity with YAML.

• Experience in infrastructure as code with Terraform.

• Background in configuration management using Ansible.

• Practical experience with CI/CD tools, including Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

• Familiarity with containers and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.

• Experience with monitoring and observability software, including Prometheus and Grafana.

• Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity.

• Bonus: Experience across multiple cloud platforms, GitOps workflows, security and compliance automation, or in a consulting/client-facing setting.
