This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

• Oversee and manage server operations

• Administer internal monitoring systems

• Develop and sustain the IT infrastructure

• Handle infrastructure as code, utilizing tools like Terraform and Ansible

• Integrate and continuously improve security checks within CI/CD pipelines using a shift-left methodology

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing

• Manage secrets and access credentials securely

• Ensure adherence to security standards and regulatory frameworks, including ISO 27001 and GDPR

• Execute threat modeling and evaluate security risks at the initial stages

• Document processes and infrastructure thoroughly

• Stay updated on current trends and implement new tools and best practices

• Provide guidance to colleagues on security-related issues

• Take independent ownership of critical areas within the IT infrastructure and lead automation efforts

• Establish security standards and best practices for the team

• Act as the main contact for security-related concerns and contribute to the development of the DevSecOps culture

• Completed vocational training or a degree in IT, such as Computer Science or Business Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience

• Solid knowledge of Linux server administration

• Familiarity with container technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes, along with their secure management

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform and Ansible

• Proficiency with cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP

• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack

• Strong understanding of networks, firewalls, and fundamental security concepts
