DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee, configure, and automate cloud infrastructure utilizing Terraform and Ansible.

• Develop CI/CD pipelines for machine learning models and data workflows, emphasizing automation, versioning, rollback, and monitoring with Vertex AI, Jenkins, and DataDog.

• Construct and sustain scalable data and feature pipelines for both real-time and batch processing employing BigQuery, BigTable, Dataflow, Composer, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Run.

• Establish infrastructure for model monitoring and observability, identifying drift, bias, and performance issues through Vertex AI Model Monitoring and tailored dashboards.

• Enhance inference performance to boost latency and cost-efficiency of AI workloads.

• Guarantee system reliability, scalability, and performance across the ML/Data platform.

• Define and implement best practices for infrastructure deployment, monitoring, logging, and security.

• Diagnose complex problems impacting ML/Data pipelines and production systems.

• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and regulatory standards, particularly in real-money gaming environments.

• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and DevOps professionals to automate workflows and improve performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably with an emphasis on ML and Data infrastructure.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly BigQuery, Dataflow, Vertex AI, Cloud Run, and Pub/Sub.

• Expertise in Terraform (with additional knowledge of Ansible being a plus).

• Strong understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration platforms like GKE.

• Proven experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines, ideally using Jenkins.

• Comprehensive understanding of monitoring and logging best practices for cloud and data systems.

• Scripting skills in Python, Groovy, or Shell.

• Familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks (LangGraph or LangChain) is advantageous.

• Additional experience in gaming, real-time fraud detection, or AI-driven personalization systems is a plus.
