DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide direct advice and support to customers regarding technical inquiries.

• Collaborate with customers to create solutions based on their needs and assist in implementation.

• Construct and configure container platforms.

• Oversee infrastructure, cloud, and container platforms.

• Streamline processes through the use of CI/CD pipelines.

• Launch applications in both clusters and cloud environments.

• Manage monitoring and assess performance.

• Continuously update knowledge of container and cloud technologies through self-directed learning and training.

• Engage in customer interactions, on-call responsibilities, or on-site tasks as necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with container and cloud technologies is preferred.

• Eagerness to explore new subjects.

• An empirical-agile approach to work.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to collaborate within a team while also managing independent tasks.

• Self-initiative and effective self-management.

• Proficiency in German and English at a business level (C1/C2), both written and verbal.

• Enjoyment of direct customer engagement, including on-call duties or on-site engagements when necessary.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of Linux systems.

• Understanding of at least one cloud platform: AWS, GKE, MS Azure, or OSP/OpenStack.

• Basic knowledge of Terraform is advantageous.

• Basic knowledge of Ansible is advantageous.

• Basic knowledge of Go is advantageous.

• Experience in IT operations is a plus.

• A consulting mindset with strong consulting abilities.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Knowledge of Scrum methodologies.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum projects is beneficial.

• Scrum certification is a plus.

• Knowledge of Kanban methodologies is advantageous.

• Familiarity with moderation and de-escalation techniques is desirable.

• Knowledge of learning methodologies/didactics for training delivery is a plus.
