DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, automate, and oversee cloud infrastructure utilizing Terraform

• Ensure system reliability, performance, and monitoring through self-hosted Grafana, Sentry, and Laravel Nightwatch

• Administer infrastructure and specialized environments tailored for AI, data science, and machine learning workloads

• Lead security and compliance initiatives, including SOC2 and PCI DSS audits along with technical controls

• Create and sustain internal tools that support cross-functional teams

• Oversee AI integrations and the management of internal AI tools

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)

• Proficient in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and automation practices

• Strong focus on security

• Solid coding experience; must be eager to learn and work with the PHP/Laravel stack

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases (any database experience is acceptable)

• Capability to manage infrastructure for AI, ML, and Data Science workloads

• Experience in managing compliance audits (e.g., SOC2, PCI DSS) is a plus

• Background in a fast-paced startup setting is advantageous

• Willingness to travel occasionally for team headquarters meetings and company on-sites is preferred
