DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design, execution, and management of scalable, secure, and efficient AWS infrastructure.

• Support comprehensive AWS migration projects transitioning from legacy systems to modern cloud solutions.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement DevOps best practices, automation techniques, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Contribute to deployment strategies that ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and optimal performance.

• Enhance and optimize internal processes and workflows for effective project delivery.

• Facilitate seamless collaboration among development, operations, and various teams.

• Implement and oversee Kubernetes and Docker containerization solutions.

• Utilize GitHub Actions, AWS CodeSuite, and CircleCI to streamline software delivery, continuous integration, and deployment.

• Apply AWS Well-Architected Framework principles to the infrastructure.

• Stay updated on Data, Machine Learning, and AI trends, leveraging these insights to improve technical solutions.

• Communicate effectively with team members, promoting learning and knowledge sharing.

⛳️ Requirements

• AWS Professional and specialty certifications are highly advantageous.

• 2–4 years of practical experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, EKS, and ECS.

• Experience in supporting AWS migration and modernization initiatives.

• Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of GitHub Actions, AWS CodeSuite, and CircleCI.

• Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles.

• Hands-on experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation.

• Familiarity with the AWS Well-Architected Framework and its best practices.

• Exposure to Data, Machine Learning, or AI technologies is a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and capability to troubleshoot complex issues.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
