DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Be integrated within AWS, responsible for managing the various environments hosted there, covering networking, systems, and the extensive range of AWS services.

• Oversee DevOps as an area of specialization: not only maintaining AWS infrastructure but also handling development tasks as they progress through AWS.

• Create scripts that automate and streamline DevOps processes.

• Collaborate closely with the development team on a daily basis, as well as with infrastructure and IT where their functions intersect.

• Adhere to established procedures while offering insights as the team refines its strategy based on collective feedback.

• Assist the team in exploring practical applications of AI in their everyday operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge and expertise in AWS technologies, demonstrating confidence across a broad spectrum of AWS domains, including networking and systems.

• Mid-level experience of approximately 3–5 years; while seniority is not required, some prior experience is beneficial.

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science or engineering.

• An engineering mindset paired with strong problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Openness to following established patterns, accepting feedback, and maintaining flexibility.

• Proactive and willing to engage with others.

• Strong understanding of Linux.

• Proficient scripting skills, including Bash on Linux and Python, with the capability to write scripts that facilitate DevOps tasks.
