This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Assist in the execution and support of the corporate technology governance framework, adhering to industry best practices.
• Develop formal mechanisms for technical decision-making, such as an Architecture Board, Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), and a Technology Radar.
• Set guidelines for the adoption, evolution, and retirement of technologies.
• Ensure that technology strategies are aligned with business objectives.
• Develop metrics for technical maturity and monitor their advancement.
• Define architectural standards across frontend, mobile, backend, APIs, messaging, and cloud.
• Produce reference architectures (blueprints) to expedite new projects.
• Assess emerging technologies and facilitate their sustainable integration.
• Maintain technical consistency among squads and business units.
• Assist in pivotal architectural choices for strategic projects.
• Spearhead the implementation of standardized Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Establish DevSecOps methodologies and automate security measures.
• Set standards for unit, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) testing, along with ongoing quality practices.
• Enhance Developer Experience (DX) through the development of internal tools, templates, and automation.
• Ensure consistent environments and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Introduce Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, which include Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), incident management, and post-mortem analysis.
• Act as a technical reference for architects, technical leads, and senior engineers.
• In-depth knowledge of software engineering with experience in technical leadership roles.
• Background in collaborating across multiple technology teams, digital products, or complex platforms.
• Proven experience in implementing technical governance and enterprise standards.
• Familiarity with modern architectures, including microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, and cloud-native designs.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, observability, and DevSecOps practices.
• Understanding of generative AI as applied to software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Python development.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as Spring, JUnit, Jakarta, TensorFlow, and Django.
• Knowledge of software architecture, particularly in cloud-native environments and secure software development.
• Experience with code-profiling tools for analyzing application performance, databases, and monitoring infrastructure.
• Awareness of leading large language models (LLMs) and frameworks on the market, especially open-source solutions, ChatGPT, and Amazon Bedrock.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is preferred.
• Familiarity with observability tools (New Relic, Grafana, Prometheus) is preferred.
• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub) is preferred.
• Knowledge of mobile development (native or hybrid) is preferred.
• Familiarity with internal Developer Platforms is preferred.
• Experience managing integrations with SaaS platforms is preferred.
• Relevant certifications will be viewed as advantageous.
