This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Prepare, refine, and deliver accurate briefing materials for meetings with external donors.
• Oversee the scheduling, tracking, memos, and logistical support for Presidential and ELT trips to the West Coast area.
• Input regional team information into Salesforce and create and format basic reports.
• Compose requests for donor meetings, thank-you letters, and other correspondence on behalf of ELT representatives.
• Aid in maintaining, enhancing, or designing internal departmental processes.
• Act as a liaison between the West fundraising team and Central Development.
• Organize and schedule team meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute materials.
• Assist with the planning and execution of retreats and annual meetings.
• Monitor follow-up actions for selected projects and meetings to ensure they are completed.
• Provide support for regional events and donor tours at the Obama Presidential Center.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Outstanding project management skills – able to effectively plan and carry out both short- and long-term projects.
• Proactive communicator who collaborates effectively with others to meet objectives and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Salesforce or other fundraising databases is advantageous.
• Background in development or general nonprofit operations is a plus.
