Developer Relations Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Act as a representative of Akamas at conferences, meetups, and webinars by delivering engaging technical presentations.

• Provide insights related to performance engineering, SRE, AI-driven optimization, and DevOps automation.

• Interact with developer, DevOps, and performance engineering communities via social media, forums, and industry dialogues.

• Collect market feedback and community insights.

• Craft and publish blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and technical guides.

• Collaborate with Sales Engineering to create customer-project content and integration prototypes.

• Highlight Akamas through real-world customer optimization use cases.

• Simplify complex technical capabilities into clear advantages for various audiences.

• Formulate messaging and positioning for performance engineers, SREs, DevOps engineers, and platform engineers.

• Create and present technical product demonstrations to engineers, DevOps teams, and executives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid technical foundation, preferably with experience in DevOps and cloud-native technologies.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and other CNCF tools.

• Enthusiasm for technical storytelling and knowledge sharing.

• Experience or strong interest in presenting at meetups, conferences, and community events.

• Excellent writing and communication abilities.

• Capability to convert technical features into compelling value propositions for diverse audiences.

• Openness to travel within the US and EU as required.

• Interest in performance engineering, SRE, AI-driven optimization, and DevOps automation.
