Developer Intern, Extension Excellence

📋 Description

• Develop efficient, scalable, and robust features for customers using web or Rust technology stacks.

• Collaborate with teams across Product, Design, Customer Support, Release Operations, and Software Development.

• Create and enhance features for browser extensions.

• Utilize browser-specific APIs and address behaviors across Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge.

• Prioritize extension performance, stability, and accuracy.

• Contribute to the foundational elements of 1Password's browser extension, including its architecture, health monitoring, build and testing pipelines, developer tools, and cross-browser compatibility.

• Analyze production incidents and enhance load and runtime performance.

• Steer the extension through Manifest V3 and the deprecation of browser versions.

• Candidates must reside in and have legal authorization to work in the United States or Canada.
