This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
β’ Serve as a subject matter authority in service management, encompassing incident response, on-call duties, IDP, Work Management, Workflow Automation, Agent Builder, and operational automation.
β’ Produce content through demonstrations, public speaking engagements, blogging, documentation, webinars, open-source contributions, research reports, or other mediums.
β’ Enhance Datadogβs reputation as a leader in DevOps, Monitoring, Observability, and Security.
β’ Collaborate with product engineering teams to create engaging demonstrations.
β’ Mentor internal engineering teams on effective communication and presentation skills.
β’ Engage with open-source communities to convey key messaging and develop new integrations for Datadog.
β’ Provide product feedback through bug reports, enhancement suggestions, documentation, or coding contributions.
β’ Around 5+ years of experience in roles such as Platform Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Software Developer, with practical experience in incident response and managing production systems within complex IT environments.
β’ Solid understanding of essential service management practices, including incident response, on-call duties, post-incident reviews, and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
β’ Proficient in tools like Datadog, PagerDuty, Opsgenie, incident.io, Rootly, Jira Cloud Platform, Cortex, or similar.
β’ Approximately 2+ years of experience in storytelling and crafting compelling content.
β’ Availability of publicly accessible writing samples, blog posts, demonstrations, or recorded technical presentations.
β’ Proficient in at least one scripting or programming language, such as Node.js, Python, Go, or Bash.
β’ Familiar with APIs, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) cloud services, and containerization.
β’ Self-motivated in exploring and learning about new technologies and programming languages.
β’ Bonus: Practical experience with ITSM platforms, such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Management.
