Dev Ops Engineer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development and execution of the organization’s DevOps strategy.

• Work collaboratively with development, product, operations, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.

• Architect and implement scalable, highly available AWS infrastructure utilizing Nomad, Consul, Vault, and Terraform.

• Integrate engineering efforts into the company’s DevOps pipeline.

• Oversee the GitHub source code repository, ensuring adherence to code review and branching best practices.

• Monitor the health and performance of production systems and address any issues that arise.

• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours support and management of critical incidents.

• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to achieve compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Offer guidance and mentorship to DevOps Engineers I and II.

• Address assigned bugs and implement hotfixes as needed.

• Complete and deploy production code.

• Engage in technical discussions and contribute to the success of technical projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with DevOps methodologies, tools, and technologies, including continuous integration, deployment, and delivery.

• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, especially AWS.

• Experience in deploying and managing infrastructure with GitHub Actions, Nomad, Consul, Vault, and Terraform.

• Proficiency in managing GitHub source code repositories and adhering to best practices in code review and branching.

• Understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.

• Experience with shell and Python scripting.

• Proven experience in monitoring and resolving issues in production systems.

• Knowledge of security and compliance practices within a DevOps framework.

• Awareness of industry standards and regulations.

• Experience with healthcare data is an advantage.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Capability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
