Designer – Senior Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Develop brand-consistent materials across various platforms including digital, retail, shopper, social media, email, websites, paid media, sales tools, presentations, packaging, and additional channels.

• Assist in expanding Magic Spoon’s revamped packaging into a comprehensive visual identity for the brand.

• Oversee assigned projects from initiation to final delivery, encompassing concept development, execution, feedback, and production support.

• Contribute to shaping project briefs, clarifying direction, and identifying practical creative solutions during the formative stages of projects.

• Organize timelines, files, feedback, and deliverables with meticulous attention to detail.

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and articulate creative rationale clearly.

• Adapt to shifting priorities while ensuring quality and progress remain intact.

• Provide support for photography, illustration, video, rendering, and AI-assisted creative initiatives.

• Engage with freelancers, photographers, illustrators, stylists, food stylists, printers, and other external collaborators as necessary.

• Prepare production-ready files and assist with internal packaging proofing, retouching, rendering, and final asset creation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Approximately 4 to 8 years of relevant professional experience.

• A robust portfolio showcasing typography, layout, visual storytelling, and brand systems.

• Proven experience in creating work across both digital and physical formats.

• Expert-level proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

• Experience in designing for social media, email marketing, paid media, and websites.

• Strong design capabilities coupled with organized file-management practices.

• Background in working within an established brand identity while aiding its evolution.

• Highly collaborative, resourceful, and proactive in approach.
