This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovenia.
• Develop design concepts for client websites and e-commerce platforms, with a focus on WordPress and WooCommerce.
• Create page templates, product and category pages, checkout processes, and landing pages.
• Prepare clean, organized, developer-ready files and handovers, including responsive states, components, spacing, and typography guidelines.
• Generate on-brand Facebook Ads and Google Ads creatives, encompassing static, motion-lite, and iterative variants.
• Design email marketing campaigns and flows, along with content marketing graphics and social media assets.
• Utilize heatmaps, analytics, tracking insights, and testing results to make design decisions aimed at improving conversions.
• Grasp client visual brand identities and provide guidance to Account Managers on design concepts, enhancements, and optimizations.
• Articulate design concepts in written, verbal, and visual formats to team members and clients.
• Implement feedback and adjustments in design.
• Support Account Managers with Figma tasks and professional documentation.
• Collaborate with Account Managers, developers, marketing teams, analysts, and other designers.
• Create marketing materials for Digitalist's own promotional efforts.
• Uphold high design standards and enhance design-driven outcomes for assigned clients.
• Attend client meetings alongside Account Managers.
• Engage in training, skill enhancement sessions, Design Team group calls, and industry research on best practices.
• Report directly to the Design Lead and Agency Director.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Designer in a professional environment or equivalent experience in a design role at another agency.
• A well-established design portfolio demonstrating sophisticated, effective, and brand-consistent work across a variety of clients, stores, and sectors.
• Proven experience in designing websites and online stores that have been built and launched, preferably on WordPress or WooCommerce.
• Documented experience in creating paid social and search creatives, as well as email marketing designs.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with WordPress, Slack, a time-tracking tool, a project management tool, and Google Workspace Suite.
• Comfortable working on WordPress and WooCommerce projects.
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
• Ability to handle video editing tasks, primarily for UGC content.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; fluency in English is required.
• Must be available and responsive during Central European standard office hours, Monday to Friday.
• A stable internet connection, a laptop or PC, and the capability to participate in virtual video meetings are essential.
• Proficiency in Slovenian, Croatian, or Serbian is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Comfortable working in a remote setting.
• Strong typography skills and a refined aesthetic sense.
• Ability to meet deadlines while demonstrating high accountability and responsiveness.

• Fixed monthly salary.
• Regular performance evaluations every 9-12 months, with the first review occurring after 3-6 months.
• Full-time commitment with Central European standard office hours (Monday to Friday).
