This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.
• Develop design concepts for client websites and e-commerce platforms, primarily utilizing WordPress and WooCommerce.
• Create page templates, including product and category pages, checkout processes, landing pages, and UX/UI designs focused on conversion.
• Prepare clean, well-structured, developer-ready files and handovers, ensuring responsive states, components, spacing, and typography guidelines are followed.
• Provide support to developers throughout the implementation process.
• Design on-brand creatives for Facebook Ads and Google Ads, including static, motion-lite, and testing variations.
• Create email marketing campaigns and flows, as well as content marketing graphics and social media assets.
• Convert analysis, heatmaps, analytics, tracking insights, and test outcomes into design decisions aimed at enhancing conversions.
• Offer design suggestions, enhancements, and optimizations to Account Managers.
• Effectively communicate design concepts to team members and clients.
• Incorporate client feedback and make necessary design adjustments.
• Assist Account Managers with Figma tasks and professional reporting.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, marketers, analysts, Account Managers, the Design Lead, and the Agency Director.
• Create marketing materials to support Digitalist's own promotional efforts.
• Uphold high design standards and enhance design-driven outcomes for assigned clients.
• Attend client meetings alongside Account Managers.
• Engage in training, skill development sessions, Design Team calls, and research on best practices.
• Manage internal design requirements and assigned initiatives.
• Report directly to the Design Lead and the Agency Director.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Designer in a professional capacity or comparable design role at another agency.
• A well-established design portfolio that demonstrates elevated, effective, and brand-aligned designs for various clients, stores, and niches.
• Proven experience in designing websites and online stores that were successfully built and launched, preferably on WordPress or WooCommerce.
• Background in creating paid social media and search creatives, along with email marketing designs.
• In-depth knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with WordPress, Slack, time-tracking tools, project management software, and Google Workspace Suite.
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
• Experience with Elementor or a similar page builder is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Klaviyo or Mailchimp is a plus.
• Experience in motion or short-form video editing, including user-generated content.
• Strong typography skills and a refined sense of aesthetics.
• Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, time management, and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to work quickly, implement changes, resolve design-related issues, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Availability and responsiveness during Central Europe standard office hours, Monday to Friday.
• Reliable internet connection and a laptop or PC; must be able to participate in virtual video conferences.
• Fluent in verbal and written English.
• Proficiency in Slovenian, Croatian, or Serbian is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Monthly salary with a fixed rate.
• Fully remote position.
• Full-time commitment during Central Europe standard office hours (Monday to Friday).
• Contractor status upon signing the non-disclosure agreement.
• Exclusivity agreement.
• 30-day notice period after the initial month.
• Regular performance evaluations every 9-12 months, with the first review occurring after 3-6 months.
