Design Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Lead and mentor the three-member Design Team, fostering both professional and disciplinary growth.

• Serve as the liaison between the Creative Directors and the Design Team.

• Convert the overarching Creative Direction into a cohesive execution across all relevant touchpoints.

• Organize and oversee capacities, priorities, resources, projects, and deadlines.

• Gather and disseminate briefs from Creative Direction, Marketing, and various departments.

• Engage directly in the design of packaging, advertisements, social media content, newsletters, webshops, and other digital assets.

• Supervise and manage 3D graphics, renderings, as well as print and POS materials.

• Ensure the production of clean and ready-to-print files.

• Incorporate AI and automation into design workflows.

• Continue to enhance templates, visual systems, asset structures, and workflows to boost quality, efficiency, and scalability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience in brand, visual, or packaging design, supported by a robust portfolio.

• Proven experience in leading and developing team members.

• In-depth expertise in packaging design with the ability to create production-ready print files confidently.

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, as well as Figma.

• Strong interest in AI, with practical experience using Claude and other relevant AI tools; familiarity with automated workflows is advantageous.

• A proactive mindset, initiative, and the capability to manage projects and priorities systematically.

• Innovative creative ideas and the ability to collaborate closely with a Creative Director while consistently executing the overarching Creative Direction.

• Excellent German language proficiency, at least at the C1 level.

• Availability for full-time work (40 hours per week across 5 days) or a minimum of 35 hours per week.
