Design Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire design management process from the initial concept to construction documentation and implementation.

• Collaborate with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to guarantee the timely delivery of design packages.

• Examine and confirm the constructability and compliance of architectural, structural, MEP, and interior design drawings.

• Manage design timelines and track deliverables in relation to project milestones.

• Ensure adherence to local building regulations, statutory requirements, and project specifications.

• Organize design review meetings and address interdisciplinary design conflicts.

• Work alongside project execution teams to resolve site-related design challenges.

• Promote value engineering initiatives while upholding design intent and quality standards.

• Oversee design modifications, approvals, revisions, and documentation management.

• Communicate with clients, consultants, and senior leadership regarding design choices and project updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 15–18 years of experience in design management for large-scale commercial, hospitality, retail, or mixed-use projects.

• Experience with CSD projects is highly preferred.

• Strong grasp of architectural, structural, and MEP coordination.

• Proven experience managing projects involving hotels, malls, and mixed-use developments.

• Expertise in design management processes, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement.

• Outstanding communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities.

• Familiarity with BIM, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other design coordination tools is advantageous.

• Experience with large-scale projects exceeding 1 Million Sq. Ft.

• Background in 5-Star Hospitality Projects.

• Experience with Shopping Malls and Retail Developments.

• Experience with Mixed-Use Commercial Developments.

• Experience collaborating with reputable developers, PMC firms, or large EPC organizations.
