This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Set up, program, and test credit card terminals prior to deployment.
β’ Ensure terminal configuration, functionality, and readiness for deployment.
β’ Aid deployment technicians with terminal-related challenges during installations.
β’ Provide support to Client Services regarding credit card terminal concerns.
β’ Collaborate with external technical support teams for terminal configuration and functionality matters.
β’ Identify and report recurring terminal issues and setup challenges.
β’ Perform quality assurance checks on 360 Pro systems and associated peripheral hardware.
β’ Prepare, package, label, and document 360 Pro systems and deployment supplies.
β’ Confirm that all necessary equipment, accessories, labels, documentation, and materials are included.
β’ Diagnose and resolve common pre-deployment issues.
β’ Complete assigned field installations monthly.
β’ Conduct onsite installations involving POS systems, payment terminals, printers, scanners, and related hardware.
β’ Assist field technicians with equipment setup, testing, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues.
β’ Relay field observations to enhance staging, configuration, labeling, documentation, and packaging processes.
β’ Support warehouse operations including packaging, labeling, organizing, and shipping of equipment.
β’ Act as a backup for the Warehouse Clerk and Assembler.
β’ Report equipment issues, missing components, and deployment challenges to management.
β’ Adhere to checklists, procedures, and quality standards.
β’ Assist Level I technicians with routine inquiries and ensure adherence to preparation and deployment standards.
β’ At least 2 years of experience in POS, field installation, technical support, or a similar technical setting.
β’ Basic understanding of computer systems and hardware.
β’ Competence in basic network configuration, including IP settings.
β’ Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
β’ Capability to perform staging, configuration, testing, packaging, and quality control tasks with minimal supervision.
β’ Ability to undertake standard field deployment assignments.
β’ Self-motivated and proactive in learning, task execution, and problem-solving.
β’ Ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in high-pressure situations.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Keen attention to detail and dedication to quality.
β’ Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking capabilities.
β’ Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks with little supervision.
β’ Professional interaction with management, deployment technicians, warehouse staff, and Client Services.
β’ Capacity to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance.
β’ Valid Texas driver's license required.
β’ Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening is mandatory.
