Deployment Project Manager – Warehouse Robotics, Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of warehouse robotics and automation deployment projects from initiation to customer acceptance.

• Establish project execution strategies, governance structures, timelines, resource allocation, and key milestones.

• Ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations, project goals, and customer satisfaction.

• Oversee project budgets, track costs, manage profitability, and handle financial reporting.

• Serve as the trusted advisor and primary point of contact for clients throughout the deployment process.

• Lead steering committees, project evaluations, executive briefings, and stakeholder communications.

• Cultivate strong relationships with customer teams, ranging from operational managers to senior leadership.

• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Integration, Operations, and Commissioning teams to ensure successful deployment.

• Coordinate installation and commissioning activities to meet technical and operational objectives.

• Assist in system testing, acceptance procedures, and preparations for operational readiness.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks during execution.

• Maintain project risk registers and escalation protocols.

• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as necessary.

• Prepare, negotiate, and manage change requests and project modifications.

• Supervise subcontractors and third-party suppliers involved in project execution.

• Lead RFQ, qualification, and vendor selection initiatives.

• Ensure that partner performance meets project specifications and quality standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent technical expertise.

• At least 5+ years of project management experience in warehouse automation, robotics, logistics, industrial equipment, intralogistics, or material handling.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering complex customer-facing projects throughout the entire project lifecycle.

• Experience in managing budgets, schedules, risks, and multidisciplinary stakeholders.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automated systems environments.

• Exceptional stakeholder management and client-facing communication abilities.
