This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Ensure the relevance, quality, and ongoing enhancement of Calbright Health Science Programs.
• Assist in the program approval processes, encompassing state, accreditation, certification, and regulatory requirements.
• Keep track of healthcare industry trends, workforce needs, certification standards, and regulatory changes.
• Aid in the development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of Health Science programs utilizing competency-based and skills-oriented learning models.
• Facilitate program-level meetings to evaluate program quality, ongoing improvement, and metrics related to student success.
• Guarantee that program outcomes, assessment methods, and course content are rigorous, responsive, and aligned with workforce needs.
• Support Adjunct Faculty in establishing annual SMART goals.
• Supervise adjunct faculty, including performance reviews, timesheet approvals, training, mentorship, student referrals, and escalations.
• Analyze student and course feedback and suggest content and program enhancements.
• Direct program review cycles, gather and analyze data, engage stakeholders, and prepare reports.
• Examine student outcomes data and contribute to trend analysis and metric tracking.
• Identify, assess, develop, and manage clinical, practicum, internship, apprenticeship, and other experiential learning opportunities.
• Collaborate with external partners to foster student skill development and readiness for the workforce.
• Lead Health Science Advisory Councils and engage healthcare employers, licensing bodies, workforce agencies, and industry experts.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with healthcare organizations, employers, professional associations, and workforce agencies.
• Stay current in the discipline through certifications, professional development, and networking.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Allied Health, Health Sciences, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related health discipline.
• At least three years of professional experience in healthcare, health sciences education, workforce development, healthcare administration, or a closely related field.
• Proven experience in supporting program quality, curriculum development, workforce alignment, regulatory compliance, or student success initiatives.
• Extensive knowledge in one or more departmental program areas.
• Familiarity with competency-based education and assessment-forward design.
• Understanding of healthcare workforce trends, healthcare delivery systems, regulatory requirements, and industry-recognized credentials.
• Knowledge of healthcare program accreditation, certification, and approval processes.
• Ability to build and sustain partnerships with healthcare organizations, employers, workforce boards, and professional associations.
• Understanding of experiential learning, clinical education, internships, practicums, and work-based learning models.
• Capability to interpret labor market information and workforce data.
• Knowledge of program review processes, outcomes assessment, and key performance indicators.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate clearly.
• Capability to lead and facilitate change management.
• Ability to work in a remote online instructional environment and utilize digital communication tools.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Must adhere to mandated reporter obligations under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act, as well as Calbright College policies, procedures, and Title IX.
• Primarily remote work arrangement.
