Dental Consultant – Periodontist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Approve or reject predeterminations and claims by examining radiographs and/or other relevant documentation in line with member plan benefits.

• Leverage Overjet’s dental AI technology to aid in claims review decision-making.

• Assess appeals and solicit additional information as needed.

• Make updated claim decisions and provide further recommendations.

• Relay claim review results to participating dentists and plan members.

• Engage in training and calibration sessions.

• Offer consistent feedback to enhance the productivity and accuracy of claims reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree from an accredited dental institution.

• Board certification in Periodontics is required.

• At least 5 years of clinical experience is necessary.

• Previous claims review experience is highly preferred (2+ years).

• Possession of an active, unrestricted dental license in the state of Florida.

• Expertise in CDT codes and dental procedures.

• Strong computer proficiency and comfort with remote platforms (e.g., Zoom).

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
