Dental Consultant – Oral Surgeon

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Authorize or reject predeterminations and claims by analyzing radiographs and/or other supporting documentation in line with member plan benefits, utilizing Overjet’s dental AI technology for assistance.

• Assess appeals, request further information, revise claim decisions, and provide additional recommendations.

• Relay claim review results to participating dentists and plan members.

• Engage in training and calibration sessions.

• Offer continuous feedback to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of claims review.

⛳️ Requirements

• D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree from an accredited dental institution.

• Board certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

• At least 5 years of clinical experience.

• Previous claims review experience is highly preferred (2+ years).

• Active, unrestricted dental license in the state of Florida.

• Proficient understanding of CDT codes and dental procedures.

• Strong computer skills and proficiency with remote platforms (e.g., Zoom).

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
