Dental Consultant – Endodontist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Assess radiographs and/or relevant documentation to approve or reject predeterminations and claims based on member plan benefits.

• Utilize Overjet’s dental AI technology to assist in claims review decisions.

• Review appeals and request further information as needed.

• Make amended claim decisions and additional recommendations.

• Relay claim review results to participating dentists and plan members.

• Engage in training and calibration sessions.

• Offer consistent feedback to enhance claims review efficiency and precision.

⛳️ Requirements

• D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree from an accredited dental institution.

• Board certification in Endodontics.

• At least 5 years of clinical experience.

• Prior experience in claims review is highly preferred (2+ years).

• Active and unrestricted dental license in the state of Florida.

• Proficient understanding of CDT codes and dental procedures.

• Strong computer skills and familiarity with remote platforms (e.g., Zoom).

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
