Delivery Lead – PMO Director, AI, Data & Customer Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Oversee a portfolio of strategic programs focused on AI, data, digital, and customer transformation from the initial discovery phase to production launch and adoption.

• Develop project charters, roadmaps, governance models, milestones, workstreams, and success criteria.

• Establish and uphold PMO standards, delivery frameworks, RACI models, reporting templates, and stage gates.

• Collaborate with strategy, architecture, data engineering, analytics, AI, CRM, MarTech, product, and operations teams.

• Convert complex business goals into actionable initiatives, requirements, and priorities.

• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, scope alterations, budgets, capacity, and escalations.

• Conduct operating reviews, steering committee meetings, client interactions, status updates, and decision-making forums.

• Steer initiatives through stages of discovery, assessment, proof of concept, implementation, production launch, and adoption.

• Ensure that solutions are practical, scalable, well-governed, and consistent with enterprise architecture and data strategy.

• Assist in business development, including proposals, estimates, statements of work, and client presentations.

• Create reusable delivery playbooks and enhance planning and execution methodologies.

• Mentor delivery managers, project managers, and team members.

• Monitor business value, including adoption rates, revenue impact, retention, efficiency, cycle time, data quality, and customer experience outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in program delivery, PMO leadership, management consulting, digital transformation, data strategy, or technology delivery.

• Proven experience leading complex, multi-workstream programs for enterprise-level or Fortune 500 clients.

• Hands-on experience with AI readiness, data modernization, Customer 360, identity resolution, CDPs, CRM, MarTech, analytics, or composable data platforms.

• Familiarity with Agile, hybrid, and traditional project delivery methodologies.

• Experience in creating governance frameworks and delivery processes.

• Outstanding communication and executive presentation skills.

• Strategic and delivery-oriented operational capability.

• Proficient in estimates, budgets, staffing models, proposals, and statements of work.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is required.

• Willingness to travel to Stamford, CT is mandatory.

• Preferred: experience in consulting, agencies, systems integration, or high-growth transformation practices.

• Preferred: background in taking AI or data initiatives from strategy or proof of concept to large-scale production.

• Preferred: proven history of building or scaling a PMO, delivery practice, or consulting capability.

• Preferred: possession of professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, SAFe, Scrum, Lean, or similar.

• Preferred: experience managing distributed or global teams.

• Preferred: knowledge of cloud data platforms, marketing technology ecosystems, CRM platforms, and modern analytics environments.
