Delivery Director – Project Delivery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of delivery across a range of accounts or programs.

• Develop and implement delivery strategies, prioritization, and governance throughout the portfolio.

• Lead key internal and client initiatives that contribute to revenue growth and enhance delivery maturity.

• Act as an executive-level partner for clients within the portfolio.

• Shape client outcomes, strategy, and investment decisions by providing consultative guidance.

• Cultivate client relationships to foster trust and identify recommendations that enhance business value.

• Manage portfolio-level financial performance, focusing on revenue, margin, and accuracy of forecasts.

• Align delivery choices and resource allocation with business goals and account strategies.

• Assist in the negotiation of Statements of Work, Change Orders, and agreements with third-party vendors.

• Guide Senior Delivery Managers and Delivery Managers through effective people management, mentorship, and peer support.

• Promote accountability and excellence through regular, transparent feedback and servant leadership.

• Serve as the primary escalation point for delivery leaders.

• Build or enhance Delivery Management communities, committees, and standards.

• Oversee medium- to long-term workforce, capability, and capacity planning.

• Lead pursuit strategies and provide deal support for strategic opportunities.

• Collaborate with sales and account leadership to expand accounts and drive growth.

• Contribute to pre-sales efforts, including delivery strategies, estimation, and risk management.

• Function within either the Project Delivery (PMO) or Market Delivery Unit (MDU) tracks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in consulting, program, or delivery leadership.

• Demonstrated capability to lead portfolios or large programs across multiple teams and engagements.

• Strong skills in managing executive stakeholders at the C-suite, SVP, and VP levels.

• Proven experience in driving delivery outcomes, governance, and accountability among leaders.

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Experience in managing financial targets, including margin, revenue, and forecasting.

• Experience in leading pursuits, account growth, and providing strategic deal support.

• A broad range of certifications in Agile, scaled Agile, or PMP methodologies — for example, SAFe, PMP, RTE, SPC, PgMP.

• Experience across various delivery domains.

• Background in negotiating Statements of Work, Change Orders, and third-party vendor agreements.

• Familiarity with the Microsoft technology ecosystem and Cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).

• Must be based in the US.
