Defined Contribution Customer Solutions Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Manage incoming calls while delivering financial education.

• Address intricate inquiries regarding investment and payment options accessible to plan participants.

• Provide advice on suitable tools and services.

• Share information and guidance concerning plan distributions, loans, investment selections, and specific plan regulations.

• Operate independently to identify and resolve issues through research and solution development.

• Execute transactional support for plan participants.

• Direct guidance on qualified and non-qualified retirement plan benefits.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hold a FINRA SIE Certification and be capable of obtaining FINRA Series 6 License and 63 License within six months of employment.

• Exhibit experience in Defined Contribution or Qualified Plans.

• Background in customer service and/or financial services is required.

• Possess analytical abilities for problem-solving and the capacity to troubleshoot basic technical issues.

• Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy and personal accountability.

• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment with peak seasonal volumes.

• Employ conceptual thinking to recognize patterns, apply concepts, and clarify complex information.

• Show sustained confidence and resilience during challenging interactions.

• Ability to ask pertinent probing questions to better evaluate customer needs.

• Utilize data to persuade and influence customers, providing objective guidance.

• Demonstrate active listening skills to comprehend both expressed and unexpressed customer needs.

• Must possess work authorization in the United States that does not currently or will not in the future require visa sponsorship.
