Deckhand – Factory Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Execute responsibilities associated with sailing Mersey's vessels

• Clean, categorize, and pack fish in ice, storing the catch in the hold

• Repair nets, splice ropes, and ensure maintenance of fishing gear and deck apparatus

• Set up and use machinery for bagging, boxing, or other packaging of fish products

• Inspect products and packaging for defects and ensure compliance with company standards

• Make necessary adjustments to machinery as required

• Document production details, including quantity, weight, date, and type of product

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess, or be willing to acquire, a Marine Emergency Duties (MED) certificate

• Valid passport

• Capable of entering the United States and other countries

• Openness to travel

• Capacity to work flexible hours

• Preference will be given to candidates with experience on harvest vessels
