This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Investigate and address debit card disputes by conducting thorough research and monitoring of cases.
• Ensure compliance with Regulation E.
• Review reports related to chargeback statuses.
• Research unposted items for cardholders and prepare checks as necessary.
• Adhere to Regulation E, MasterCard guidelines, network rules, as well as internal policies and procedures.
• Process Zelle dispute claims in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Generate MasterCard Billing Reports (MCB).
• Prepare status reports at the end of each month.
• Monitor alerts related to Account Data Compromise.
• Reissue warm cards prompted by Account Data Compromise alerts.
• Conduct general research tasks associated with debit card operations.
• Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned by management.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of one year of experience in banking or related fields is necessary.
• Prior experience in debit/credit card operations and balancing/account reconciliation is preferred.
• Ability to communicate professionally with both external and internal contacts.
• Capability to adjust messaging according to the audience and situation.
• Strong written communication skills, including proficiency in emails, letters, and electronic platforms.
• Adherence to professional spelling and grammar standards.
• Maintain a professional demeanor, appearance, and presence.
• Possess exemplary interpersonal skills and a constructive, solutions-oriented approach.
• Demonstrate sound professional judgment to balance the interests of the organization and customers while mitigating risks.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 products and applications.
• Willingness to learn new systems and applications and adapt to system upgrades.
• Occasional travel to other First American Bank locations, bank functions, and training facilities may be necessary.
• Availability is required Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; additional hours may be needed.
