This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Investigate and resolve disputes related to debit cards and Zelle transactions.
• Conduct research and monitor cases to ensure compliance with Regulation E.
• Review reports to track the status of chargebacks.
• Investigate unposted items for cardholders and issue checks as necessary.
• Adhere to Regulation E, MasterCard guidelines, Network protocols, and internal policies and procedures.
• Process Zelle dispute claims in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Generate MasterCard Billing Reports (MCB).
• Compile end-of-the-month status reports.
• Monitor alerts related to Account Data Compromise.
• Reissue warm cards in response to Account Data Compromise alerts.
• Perform general research tasks associated with debit card operations.
• Complete additional tasks and projects assigned by management.
• Maintain a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with extra hours as required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• At least one year of experience in the banking sector or a related field is required.
• Prior experience in debit/credit card operations and balancing/account reconciliation is preferred.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to tailor communications effectively according to the audience and context.
• Excellent written communication skills, including proficiency in emails, letters, and digital platforms.
• Adherence to professional standards in spelling and grammar.
• Maintain a professional demeanor, appearance, and presence.
• Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
• Possess sound professional judgment with the ability to balance the interests of the organization and the customer.
• Proficient in using Microsoft 365 products and applications.
• Willingness to learn new systems and applications, and adapt to system upgrades.
• Occasional travel to other First American Bank locations, functions, and training facilities may be required.
