This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Collaborate with the Principal and leadership team to foster a positive, supportive, structured, achievement-focused, and joyful school environment.
• Mentor a group of teachers.
• Establish positive connections with students through structured social-emotional learning initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with behavioral expectations and school culture standards.
• Assist teachers in upholding consistent, high behavioral expectations.
• Provide guidance to teachers on student relationships, classroom management, and school culture.
• Drive staff initiatives aimed at enhancing student attendance and engagement.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with families as collaborators and accountability partners.
• Regularly communicate with families regarding student performance and academic success.
• Address parent and student concerns and issues.
• Engage in school-level and network-level leadership team meetings.
• Contribute to articulating the school’s mission and vision.
• Utilize communication technologies to support a predominantly virtual/remote work setting.
• Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations concerning special education and other categorical programs.
• Arizona Teaching License for Grades 6-12.
• Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card / IVP fingerprint clearance card.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in education or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Ability to pass the necessary background check.
• Capacity to work independently, typically exceeding 40 hours per week.
• Capability to maintain a professional home office free from distractions during work hours.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking capabilities.
• Focus on customer service.
• Adaptability in a fast-paced work environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and web technologies.
• Familiarity with online learning experiences.
• Experience working with the specified age group.
• Experience assisting both adults and children in learning and utilizing technology.
• Quick learner of new technology tools.
• Preference for candidates residing in Arizona; candidates from surrounding states, including D.C., may also be considered, excluding Colorado.
