Dealer Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Educate and provide training to existing dealer partners within the designated region.

• Source and establish new contacts and leads.

• Oversee and advise on sales activities and account development for assigned dealers.

• Ensure quality and consistency in product and service delivery.

• Manage a designated dealer network to assist partners in understanding the Westlake Program and fostering growth.

• Create presentations and proposals that effectively communicate company products and services to management in independent and franchise dealerships.

• Identify sales opportunities and engage with assigned accounts.

• Follow up on leads and referrals generated from field activities.

• Develop, nurture, and expand relationships with current and prospective dealer partners.

• Communicate with dealer partners via phone and in-person visits to educate them on current programs and rapid funding requirements.

• Provide solutions, rehash, and restructure vehicle loans to achieve profitable approvals.

• Assist in preparing sales contracts by guiding dealers on the necessary verification requirements.

• Maintain sales materials and stay updated on financial product knowledge.

• Engage in seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events for independent and franchise dealers.

• Travel locally and work in a field environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in Automotive, Finance, and Sales (required).

• 1-2 years of prior experience in a Sales role with a track record of success.

• College degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience.

• Strong presentation skills, from initial creation through to delivery.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Familiarity with advertising and sales promotion techniques.

• Proficient computer skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies.

• Goal-oriented with a strong desire for personal growth and advancement.

• Capable of collaborating effectively with diverse teams.

• Knowledge/Experience with DealerTrack, Routeone, or CUDL (preferred).

• Previous Outside Sales Experience (preferred).

• Willingness to travel locally to current and prospective clients.

• Valid state driver's license required.
