This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.
• Drive and facilitate the structuring of deals within Gracenote’s Commercial customer segment.
• Collaborate with sales to secure the business's most valuable and strategic opportunities.
• Oversee the delivery of Commercial proposals and executions by managing deal structuring, commercial solutions, and internal approval processes.
• Assist in handling objections throughout the deal lifecycle and serve as the primary escalation point for sales.
• Manage customer expectations effectively.
• Act as a liaison between sales, finance, product, operations, and legal teams to identify and resolve any blockers.
• Identify shortcomings in Nielsen’s commercial strategy and aid in conflict resolution and program escalations across various channels.
• Take ownership of closing opportunities within Gracenote’s Commercial sold portfolio.
• Support negotiations, proposals, objection handling, and strategies for closing deals.
• Impact the commercialization roadmap by providing insights on the performance of commercial constructs.
• Manage the Gracenote Commercial portfolio, which includes deal closure, negotiation assistance, commercial solutioning, and operational oversight.
• Deliver intelligence assets to shape the commercial approach and constructs on a large scale.
• Lead and assist in process improvements and enhancements.
• Provide ad hoc reporting as requested.
• A minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience in deal structuring/strategy, commercial solutioning, and negotiation management.
• Familiarity with deal structure frameworks, commercial strategies, and sales methodologies for subscription and consumption-based products.
• At least 5 years of direct experience in supporting Sales on deals.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where pioneering work is led and executed without predefined guidelines.
• Demonstrated success in closing deals within tight timelines while effectively addressing external and internal objections.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in objection handling.
• Experience in managing senior stakeholders and customer relationships.
• Proficiency with Salesforce, contract management tools, and data analytics software.
• Prior experience and understanding of pricing strategies, discounting practices, and revenue optimization techniques.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
