This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Assist with forecasting and reporting for Ambetter membership.

• Create predictive models, analytical frameworks, and data products to support financial planning, pricing, and strategic decision-making.

• Convert market dynamics into implementable membership forecasts.

• Design, develop, validate, and sustain machine learning models, statistical models, and forecasting techniques.

• Construct and oversee data assets, feature engineering pipelines, and analytical datasets.

• Perform exploratory analysis to uncover trends, market shifts, and drivers of forecast performance.

• Create analytical tools to extract, analyze, and store data for business requirements.

• Execute exploratory data analysis from intricate data sources and develop key datasets that align with Centene’s mission.

• Assess and design experiments to monitor metrics and pinpoint areas for improvement.

• Formulate mathematical and statistical models to identify pertinent content or events and detect patterns.

• Present research analyses and findings.

• Engage in the design of automated operational analytics processes.

• Validate and assess health management program outcomes utilizing SAS, R, and other tools.

• Oversee multiple projects and provide training support for Data Analysts.

• Collaborate with technical teams on requirements gathering, documentation, testing, delivery, and user adoption.

• Communicate expectations clearly to the Health Plan.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship, either now or in the future.

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Informatics, Econometrics, Engineering, or Experimental Science with 5+ years of relevant experience.

• Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience in quantitative analysis within data science capabilities.

• Proven experience in data mining, predictive modeling, machine learning, statistical modeling, large-scale data acquisition, transformation, and analysis of both structured and unstructured data.

• Familiarity with database technologies such as Teradata, MS SQL Server, and Snowflake.

• Highly preferred: R, Python, SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, Posit, and JupyterHub.

• Experience utilizing SAS, R, and other tools with provider, claims, and membership data.

• Understanding of database technologies and analytical data workflows.
