Data Scientist I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create, implement, and improve Artificial Intelligence solutions with an emphasis on Computer Vision.

• Build models for object detection, classification, segmentation, and tracking within images and videos.

• Design, train, and refine deep neural networks utilizing CNNs, Transformers, and generative models.

• Establish and maintain pipelines for the preparation, processing, annotation, and augmentation of visual data.

• Conduct experimentation, evaluation, and validation of models by setting metrics and tracking performance indicators.

• Leverage transfer learning, fine-tuning, and hyperparameter optimization techniques.

• Produce scalable, high-quality code in Python.

• Implement MLOps practices for model versioning, monitoring, packaging, and deployment.

• Optimize and compress models for use in edge and embedded devices.

• Utilize cloud computing and GPU-based infrastructure.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams.

• Stay informed about trends, research, and new technologies in AI, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision.

• Aid in the dissemination of technical expertise and the professional growth of team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or a closely related discipline.

• Strong experience in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning.

• Proficient in Python with advanced experience in PyTorch.

• Familiarity with MLOps, model deployment, and cloud computing services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and handling large data volumes.

• Possess an analytical, collaborative, and problem-solving mindset.

• Strong knowledge of Data Science and AI library ecosystems.

• Understanding of TensorFlow/Keras is advantageous.

• A graduate degree or specialization in AI, Data Science, or a related field is an asset.
