Data Science AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and train solutions in machine learning, deep learning, time series analysis, Generative AI, predictive analytics, natural language processing, and image processing tailored for healthcare applications.

• Create, test, and implement AI solutions in both cloud and on-premises settings.

• Conduct data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training while adhering to HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.

• Develop APIs and facilitate integrations.

• Implement and enhance AI models within Gainwell’s technology framework, collaborating closely with software engineers.

• Assess models and consistently monitor the performance of ML/DL and LLM systems.

• Apply security protocols and safeguards to Generative AI solutions.

• Oversee, refine, and enhance AI/Generative AI models for accuracy, efficiency, and speed utilizing MLOps and LLMOps methodologies.

• Investigate the latest advancements in AI/ML/Generative AI and explore technologies to improve solution efficacy.

• Ensure that AI implementations comply with healthcare regulations, ethical AI standards, and data privacy guidelines.

• Identify possibilities for automating workflows and enhancing business processes through AI-driven solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 6 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, focusing on the development and deployment of AI solutions.

• Proficient in various LLM fine-tuning techniques.

• Experienced in constructing Generative AI solutions utilizing RAG architecture.

• Competent in both Lang Chain and Lang Graph.

• Familiar with Agentic AI Frameworks and workflows using Lang Chain, Lang Graph, Crew AI, or Open AI Swarm.

• Proficient in multiple Vector Databases and Graph Databases.

• Strong programming abilities in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other AI frameworks.

• Experience in developing, deploying, and fine-tuning LLMs (such as GPT, Gemini, Claude, or similar) for practical applications, including prompt engineering, model optimization, and inference efficiency.

• Knowledgeable about cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and MLOps for scalable AI deployments.

• Proficient in big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, SQL, NoSQL databases).

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the capacity to translate business challenges into AI-driven solutions.

• Familiarity with healthcare AI applications and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, CMS) is advantageous.

• Understanding of business use cases, strong interpersonal skills, architectural skills, and the ability to persuade multiple stakeholders.

• Expertise in Streamlit is essential; familiarity with React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus.

• Capability to serve as a team lead, interact with leads from other functions/departments, comprehend business requirements, and translate them into feasible development and deployment solutions.
