Data Science AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and train solutions involving machine learning, deep learning, time series analysis, multimodal LLM, predictive analytics, NLP, and image processing specifically for healthcare applications.

• Create, test, and implement AI solutions in both cloud-based and on-premises settings.

• Handle large healthcare datasets through preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

• Develop APIs and integrations for enhanced functionality.

• Implement and optimize AI models within Gainwell’s existing technology infrastructure.

• Collaborate with software engineers to guarantee smooth system integration.

• Assess models and continually monitor the performance of ML/DL and LLM systems.

• Apply security protocols and safeguards in Generative AI solutions.

• Oversee, enhance, and optimize AI/Generative AI models for accuracy, efficiency, and speed.

• Investigate advancements in AI/ML/Generative AI and explore innovative technologies and methodologies.

• Ensure that AI implementations adhere to healthcare regulations, ethical AI standards, and data privacy guidelines.

• Identify opportunities to automate workflows and enhance business processes through AI-driven solutions.

• Translate business requirements into suitable and practical solutions while serving as a team lead.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 6 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with an emphasis on developing and deploying AI solutions.

• Familiarity with various LLM fine-tuning techniques.

• Experience in building Generative AI solutions utilizing RAG architecture.

• Proficiency in LangChain and LangGraph.

• Experience with agentic AI frameworks and workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or OpenAI Swarm.

• Knowledge of multiple vector databases and graph databases.

• Strong programming expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other AI frameworks.

• Experience in developing, deploying, and fine-tuning LLMs such as GPT, Gemini, Claude, or similar models.

• Proficiency in prompt engineering, model optimization, and inference efficiency.

• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP and MLOps for scalable AI deployments.

• Proficient with Spark, Hadoop, SQL, and NoSQL databases.

• Understanding of healthcare AI applications and regulatory compliance, including HIPAA and CMS, is a plus.

• Front-end development experience; proficiency in Streamlit is required, with additional knowledge of React, Angular, or Vue.js being advantageous.

• Capability to serve as a team lead, collaborate with other functional team leads, comprehend business requirements, and translate them into actionable solutions.
