Data Privacy Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Oversee and advocate for Westinghouse's privacy program while ensuring adherence to relevant privacy and data protection regulations.

• Collaborate with teams and corporate center functions to synchronize compliance objectives with organizational priorities.

• Spearhead internal outreach initiatives and projects concerning cross-border transfer mechanisms, program requirements, and strategic privacy resources.

• Administer the privacy initiatives for the United States and Canada while supporting the Global Program.

• Take ownership of various components of the data privacy compliance program and facilitate employee and vendor compliance with privacy standards.

• Formulate privacy program procedures and resources that align with applicable data privacy regulations and global practices.

• Assess program risks and vulnerabilities while overseeing professionals executing mitigation strategies.

• Direct privacy projects and document privacy risks affecting partners.

• Partner with collaborators worldwide.

• Manage, investigate, and document privacy incidents, special investigations, and inquiries.

• Support Westinghouse's AI Governance Program.

• Report directly to the Chief Privacy Officer.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

• Over 5 years of proven experience in the field of Privacy.

• Background in technology policy or compliance/risk management roles.

• Proficiency in Data Privacy and the capability to operate beyond national borders.

• APP practitioner certification or a comparable qualification.

• Experience in the technology sector or a solid understanding of technological aspects.
