This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Take ownership of the company's enterprise data platform and data lineage strategy for systems connected through Snowflake and MuleSoft.
• Design, construct, and oversee the Snowflake data warehouse, encompassing account structure, warehouse architecture, and role-based access controls.
• Create scalable ELT/ETL pipelines and data models utilizing Snowpipe, Streams and Tasks, dbt, and related technologies.
• Implement Snowflake security measures, governance protocols, data masking, performance optimization, and cost management practices.
• Lead the adoption and implementation of MuleSoft, crafting APIs and integration workflows for key business applications.
• Establish enterprise integration architecture standards and manage integrations through their design, development, deployment, monitoring, and support phases.
• Develop and uphold data governance policies while ensuring data quality, security, and reliability are consistently monitored.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture, integrations, mappings, and lineage.
• Act as a subject matter expert in data platform and integration architecture.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership to convert business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Own the technology roadmap and assess emerging technologies for potential integration.
• Provide support for enterprise applications, reporting, dashboards, analytics initiatives, and firm-wide technology projects.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for troubleshooting and resolving platform and integration issues.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 8 years of experience in data engineering, systems integration, platform development, or related fields.
• Proven experience in building enterprise data and integration environments from the ground up.
• Strong command of SQL and proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, such as Python, Java, or DataWeave.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines, enterprise data models, and cloud-based data warehouse solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse platforms, including administration, performance tuning, and role-based security.
• Familiarity with enterprise integration or iPaaS platforms, preferably MuleSoft.
• Experience in API design and development using REST, SOAP, and RAML/OAS specifications.
• Understanding of API-led connectivity, reusable API design, integration architecture patterns, and application networks.
• Experience with data governance, metadata management, data quality, data cataloging, and data lineage tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, event-driven architecture, and messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka.
• Ability to independently lead technology initiatives from requirements gathering through architecture, implementation, deployment, and operational support.
• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Capability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities, maintain detailed documentation, and manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Experience in a legal technology platform or within a professional services or legal environment is preferred.
