Data Entry Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Input and update shipment, inventory, and logistical data in the company's database.

• Confirm data accuracy by cross-referencing with source documents and address any discrepancies or errors.

• Work in conjunction with warehouse staff, transportation teams, and other departments to gather necessary information.

• Organize and maintain both electronic and physical records.

• Perform audits and quality checks on the database.

• Create reports and summaries on essential performance metrics and trends.

• Adhere to company policies, procedures, industry regulations, and confidentiality standards.

• Identify opportunities for process enhancement and automation.

• Keep informed about trends and best practices in data entry and the logistics industry.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or an equivalent qualification.

• Preferred additional education or certification in data entry, logistics, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrable experience in data entry or a comparable position, ideally within a 3PL or logistics setting.

• Proficient in data entry software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.

• Capability to efficiently manage large volumes of data.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-paced environment.

• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Familiarity with logistics terminology, inventory management systems, and transportation processes is a plus.
