Data Engineer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and sustain scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and delivery utilizing Fivetran, API Ingestion, and AWS S3.

• Develop and enhance SQL queries and Python scripts for ETL/ELT workflows.

• Oversee Databricks data workflows to ensure performance, reliability, and data quality.

• Collaborate on data modeling, schema design, and governance practices.

• Create and manage Databricks dashboards and reports.

• Convert reporting requirements into scalable data solutions in partnership with analysts and business teams.

• Communicate timelines and deliverables to stakeholders across various business units.

• Prioritize tasks across multiple projects and adapt to changing business needs.

• Document data processes, pipeline logic, and architectural decisions.

• Engage in sprint planning and Agile development cycles.

• Identify opportunities to leverage AI, machine learning, and cloud-native tools.

• Contribute to code reviews and development managed through GitHub.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related field.

• Strong expertise in SQL, including complex queries, performance optimization, and debugging skills.

• Practical Python experience for data transformation, automation, and pipeline development.

• Familiarity with Databricks or similar distributed data processing platforms.

• Knowledge of version control and collaborative development practices using GitHub.

• Ability to articulate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

• Preferred: Experience with Databricks, Salesforce/CRM data integration, API-based data ingestion, AI/ML tools, cloud AI services, LLM-powered data pipelines and agents, and Agile methodologies.
