This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and enhance ETL pipelines that integrate data from all Ncontracts products.
• Extract data from Ncontracts applications, transform it based on business logic, and efficiently load it into data models for analytical purposes.
• Write high-performance and maintainable code utilizing cutting-edge tools and AI agents.
• Ensure the quality of the ETL processes.
• Define data models and create reports within the analytics platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify and refine requirements.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams to facilitate data consumption.
• Optimize data processes for enhanced performance and accuracy.
• Assist and provide mentorship to junior team members.
• Promote best practices and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Engage in architecting and developing a scalable data platform.
• Enhance data architecture and scalability.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer, focusing on designing and implementing data warehouse and data lake solutions in an enterprise setting.
• In-depth knowledge of dbt is essential.
• At least 3 years of experience with Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, or AWS Redshift is required.
• Strong expertise in MS SQL Server is mandatory.
• Experience in data architecture utilizing various database types and data formats.
• Proficient in creating data pipelines for data cleaning, enrichment, and transformation.
• Familiarity with Python is a plus and highly desirable.
• Knowledge of database design and tuning techniques is required.
• Experience with version control systems (Azure DevOps, Git) and a good understanding of CI/CD concepts.
• Experience in horizontally scaling systems is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Claude Code for developing ETL pipelines and data models is advantageous.
• Previous experience in creating reports and dashboards in a contemporary analytics platform (Sigma, Omni, etc.) is beneficial.
• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric is a plus.
• Experience with other cloud data ecosystems (Google, AWS) is advantageous.
• Understanding of message/event-driven architecture patterns and distributed systems architecture.
• Knowledge of systems integration is required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
