Data Engineer, Experienced Talend Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Morocco.

📋 Description

• Collect business requirements from various stakeholders.

• Create technical solutions for data acquisition.

• Design technical solutions for data storage.

• Conduct unit and integration testing.

• Streamline and automate data cleansing according to approved specifications.

• Oversee, maintain, and document data flows.

• Monitor production processes and carry out maintenance tasks.

• Prepare technical specifications based on requirements analysis.

• Provide activity reports to the Project Manager.

• Collaborate with a vibrant team and specialists to ensure the success of digital transformation initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering.

• Familiarity with Talend Data Integration or Talend Big Data in an Agile setting.

• Understanding of data architectures and cloud environments.

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, D3.js, etc.

• Proficiency in at least one relevant programming language or technology (Spark, Scala, Python, Java, SQL).

• Expertise in operating systems (UNIX, Linux, Solaris), particularly with data storage and ETL tools.

• A strong commitment to technology trends and a passion for industry events, conferences, and meetups.

• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
