Data Engineer – CDP, SAP Emarsys

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and manage processes for customer data ingestion and transformation.

• Create and maintain integrations between source systems, CDP, SAP Emarsys, and downstream platforms.

• Construct and uphold data pipelines and ETL processes.

• Work with customer data models and data structures.

• Ensure the quality, consistency, governance, and performance of data.

• Assist with customer segmentation and marketing data needs.

• Aid in campaign and customer analytics requirements.

• Diagnose data integration and data quality challenges.

• Analyze data-related incidents and apply suitable resolutions.

• Collaborate with functional, marketing, integration, and technical teams.

• Support testing, deployment, and production activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in data engineering, customer data, or data integration.

• Practical experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDP) and/or SAP Emarsys.

• Proficient in SQL, with a background in ETL and data transformation processes.

• Experience in working with APIs, data integration, data modeling, and customer data structures.

• Strong understanding of data quality and data governance principles.

• Professional proficiency in English.

• Preferred: Experience in customer segmentation and marketing automation.

• Preferred: Experience in enterprise-scale customer data environments.

• Preferred: Practical experience with both SAP Emarsys and SAP Customer Data Platform.

• Preferred: Experience in integrating SAP and non-SAP customer data sources.
